Guardians Hire Tony Arnerich As Bench Coach
The Guardians announced this afternoon that they’ve hired Tony Arnerich as bench coach for the 2026 season. Zack Meisel of The Athletic reported the news before it was finalized. Former big league pitcher Tom Timmermann passed away this past week at the age of 85, according to multiple reports. The right-hander spent parts of six seasons in the majors.
