Baker Mayfield may be on the outs in Cleveland, but the Browns QB says that he has no regrets when it comes to his time with the franchise.
“I really truly honestly have no regrets of my time in Cleveland of what I tried to give to that place,” Mayfield said via 247Sports’ Brad Stainbrook. “True Clevelanders and Browns fans know that.”

Last season may have been a mess for Baker Mayfield and the Browns, but no one can say he didn’t lay it all out there for his team.
The former No. 1 overall pick fought through a torn labrum, separated shoulder, sore foot and knee contusion and only missed three games.
Mayfield threw for the least amount of yards (3,010) and touchdowns (17) in his career, and the second-worst completion percentage (60.5).
Baker Mayfield on the @ynk_podcast: “I feel disrespected — 100%. Because I was told one thing and they completely did another. That’s what I’m in the middle of right now. I’ve had 4 different head coaches in four years. A bunch of different coordinators.” pic.twitter.com/Eok9peq7Vc

Now, the Browns have all but moved on after dealing for Deshaun Watson and signing backups Jacoby Brissett and Josh Dobbs. Once believed to be Cleveland’s savior, it’s more likely than not Mayfield doesn’t see out his rookie contract.
The 2018 Rookie of the Year has been linked to a number of teams, including the Bucs. But, most reports say that teams don’t want to pay the $18.5 million guaranteed salary he’s due next season.
