The 2024 NFL draft has come and gone, and that means it’s time to grade the class of the Cleveland Browns. This was the final year that Cleveland was without a first-round pick as a result of the Deshaun Watson trade with the Houston Texans. Some believe the team reached on second-round pick and Ohio State defensive tackle Michael Hall Jr., but when you see the flashes of explosiveness and athleticism, you see why the team took a chance on him.
Fifth-round pick Jamari Thrash is an intriguing prospect with great short-area and quickness paired with great route running to create consistent separation. Zak Zinter will be a starting guard with Cleveland sooner or later. The question is when, not if, depending on the future of Bitonio and Teller. It wasn’t a flashy draft, but it was a good one, and it earned a B- from me.
