The NFL schedule release is right around the corner and the Browns have some powerhouse QBs on theirs

The fact that the NFL has somehow made the release of its schedule an annual event is just more proof of the marketing skills of the league. The 2025 NFL schedule release will take place in stages, with the full schedule being revealed this Wednesday evening.

For the Cleveland Browns, and others with international games or important stand-alone contests, some of the schedule will be released the days prior. We will know the details of the Browns London game on Tuesday.

While Cleveland technically has a “last place schedule,” early evaluations are that they have a very difficult one. A look at the list of quarterbacks that the Browns defense will face highlights why it might be tough to see a significant increase in wins in 2025:

QBs coming to Cleveland*

  • Joe Burrow
  • Lamar Jackson
  • Mason Rudolph (but could be Aaron Rodgers or Kirk Cousins)
  • Josh Allen
  • Tua Tagovailoa
  • Jordan Love
  • Cam Ward
  • JJ McCarthy
  • Brock Purdy

QBs on the road

  • Joe Burrow
  • Lamar Jackson
  • Mason Rudolph (but could be Aaron Rodgers or Kirk Cousins)
  • Caleb Williams
  • Justin Fields
  • Jared Goff
  • Drake Maye
  • Geno Smith

Thankfully, the Browns road schedule is slightly easier than their home schedule. That could help bring an extra victory or two. On the other hand, one of those home games really isn’t a home game.

*The London game is a “home game” but will not be in Cleveland.

What do you think when you see the list of quarterbacks above? Does that matter in your evaluations of the team?
