Is Cleveland’s running game going to take the league by storm this year?
During the offseason, Cleveland Browns fans vote in SB Nation Reacts to express their confidence level in the team or their thoughts on other topics.

In Part 1 of our running back preview on the Browns, we looked at newcomers Quinshon Judkins and Dylan Sampson, who were both selected high in this year’s draft. We also looked at the returning Jerome Ford. Absent from the group of backs is Nick Chubb, who the team moved on from after his injury comeback last year didn’t show the same burst he once had. In Part 2 of our running back preview, we looked at the rest of the backs on the roster.
We ran polls in each of those previews, but we also ran a special poll for SB Nation Reacts to look at the overall picture of the Browns’ rushing attack this year. The scheme was overhauled last year when Deshaun Watson was under center and Ken Dorsey was the offensive coordinator. It drove me and a lot of fans nuts. It just went against the strengths of the personnel of our offensive line.
Now, Kevin Stefanski is back in charge of the offense, and is expected to return to his roots of the zone blocking scheme. With fresh blood in the running back room too, we asked what fan expectations were for the team’s ground game are heading into this season. 55% of fans see a return to elite form, which is very high given how bad it was last year. 39% of fans feel it’ll be at least better than last year, which means that overall, 94% see things being better than last year. Only 6% of fans see things being the same or worse than 2024 on the ground.
Over at FanDuel Sportsbook, you can currently bet on whether the Browns will have over/under 2.5 wins, 3.5 wins, or 5.5 wins.
