The Cleveland Browns had a dramatic year that ended in the fanbase looking ahead to mock drafts by the middle of October.
The team had sky-high expectations but finished tied for the worst record in the league. The Browns started the year flat as Deshaun Watson had a disastrous season before suffering an injury. The organization finished the tank by bringing in quarterbacks Dorian Thompson-Robinson and Bailey Zappe.
The season showed the Browns desperately need a quarterback. The Browns are in a position to reach for one of the top two quarterbacks in the draft. Unfortunately, I’m not sure either quarterback is worth the second pick.
The Browns are an experienced team that needs a veteran leader at quarterback instead of drafting a quarterback and hoping for immediate success. The team must reload its talent at premium positions to compete in the AFC.
In this seven-round 2025 mock draft, I wanted to focus on getting the Browns playmakers. The Browns have five picks in the first 105 picks of the draft. They must find difference-makers with their nine picks in the draft. Here are some of my favorite prospects in the 2025 NFL draft.
