Trevor Lawrence in, Denzel Ward out

A story of injuries between the Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars ended up being a lot about nothing with QB Trevor Lawrence. The star quarterback will start today for the visiting Jaguars while QB Joe Flacco is expected to start for the Browns.

The weather was expected to be a problem but has mostly cleared off besides some wind.

For Cleveland, today was the day CB Denzel Ward was expected back but new circulated shortly before the inactive reports that he won’t be playing.

Lawrence in and Ward out, with fewer weather issues could be a problem for the Browns defense today.

Browns Inactive Report

  • CB Denzel Ward
  • LB Mohamoud Diabate
  • C Luke Wypler
  • DE Isaiah McGuire
  • DT Siaki Ika
  • OL Dawand Jones

Ward and Jones are huge losses for Cleveland today.

Jaguars Inactive Report

  • OL Walker Little
  • CB Tre Herndon
  • CB Tyson Campbell
  • OLB Yasir Abdullah
  • TE Brenton Strange
  • DT Foley Fatukasi
  • QB Nathan Rourke

WR Christian Kirk was placed on IR earlier this week.

All of the Jags questionable offensive players were able to play while Fatukasi and Campbell were questionable for the defense.
