Wyatt Teller’s wife had nothing but good things to say about Joe Flacco after he signed with the Indianapolis Colts on Tuesday.
Flacco signed a one-year deal with the Colts to be their backup quarterback since Anthony Richardson will be back from injury. It comes after Flacco helped lead the Browns back to the playoffs.
Carly Teller had a super classy message for Flacco once the news broke.
“Indy is lucky to have you, @joeflacco. I will never forget you coming to our son’s first birthday party after being with the team for 2 weeks. Major Dad energy and a class act,” she tweeted.
Flacco was signed at the end of the season when the Browns weren’t getting good quarterback play and he showed that he still has some good play left in the tank.
In five games, he completed 60.3% of his passes for 1,616 yards through the air, 13 touchdowns, and eight interceptions.
He then played in the Browns playoff game against the Houston Texans and while the Brownd didn’t win, Flacco still did enough to earn him another contract.
It’s well deserved for the NFL’s Comeback Player of the Year.
