It appears the Cleveland Browns now have some trouble already as second round pick RB Quinshon Judkins was arrested. This being on charges of domestic violence.
“According to multiple reports, first by a Twitter X User and later confirmed by Zak Jackson, Judkins was arrested and placed in the Broward County, Florida jail on charges listed as: “TOUCH OR STRIKE/BATTERY/DOMESTIC VIOL” on July 12th. The Sherrif’s website shows Judkins still in jail as of Sunday morning with nothing listed under “Expected Release Date.” – SB Nation
This is not good news especially with the recent moving on from Browns legend Nick Chubb from the team for this coming year.
In 2024 with Ohio State, Junkins played in 16 games, starting in eight of them. He rushed for 1,060 yards (5.5 average) and 14 touchdowns. Additionally, he had 442 yards receiving (7.3 average) and five touchdowns.
Now, the Browns will have to wait and see what type of punishment or legal action is taken in the coming weeks and months before the season starts. After all, just last year DT Michael Hall Jr. had a similar charge.

DT Michael Hall Jr.
With Hall, he was placed on the Commissioner’s Exempt List by the NFL following his incident. Then was ultimately suspended five games for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.
It remains to be seen what difference nuances take place with this issue in regards to coming up with any type of suspension. Hopefully, Judkins learns from his mistakes and is able to blossom as a starter in the NFL once he is able to return to the future.
Honestly, the Browns just seem to do a poor job at picking them. With a lot of players turning out to be arrested at some point after the draft. Hopefully, that trend changes for the better moving forward.
We will keep you posted on our website and social media if any news breaks about the story and hopefully it’s only for the best with this upcoming season pending. But, as you know, it’s always a turbulant off season in these parts…
