Michael Hall Jr. had a similar charge last year during training camp
The Cleveland Browns are once again dealing with a player in legal trouble as second-round pick Quinshon Judkins has been arrested on domestic violence-related charges. Judkins was the Browns second pick in the second stanza and remains the team’s only unsigned 2025 NFL draft pick.
Judkins was selected as a part of the team’s focus on returning to a run-first offense. Now, like DT Michael Hall Jr. last year at the start of training camp, the organization has much more important questions to figure out with a second-round pick heading into a rookie season.
According to multiple reports, first by a Twitter/X user and later confirmed by The Athletic’s Zak Jackson, Judkins was arrested and placed in the Broward County, Florida jail on charges listed as: “TOUCH OR STRIKE/BATTERY/DOMESTIC VIOL” on July 12th. A search of the Sheriff’s website shows Judkins still in jail as of Sunday morning with nothing listed under “Expected Release Date.”
Last year, Hall was placed on the Commissioner’s Exempt List to start the season after his mid-August charge. After entering a plea in mid-September, Hall was suspended on October 1st by the NFL for five games.
