Stop us if you’ve heard this before: the Browns are making a change to their quarterback room.
After the Browns defeated the Jets on Thursday night, the front office signed quarterback Jeff Driskel from the Cardinals’ practice squad.
Driskel has bounced around the league, spending time with the Bengals, Lions, Broncos and Texans. In 23 career games, he has 2,228 passing yards, 14 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
As of now, Driskel will be the No. 3 quarterback on the depth chart. He’s behind Joe Flacco and PJ Walker.

Flacco has been sensational for the Browns, owning a 4-1 record as their starter. Last night, he completed 19-of-29 pass attempts for 309 yards with three touchdowns and an interception.
If Flacco continues to play at this level, the Browns won’t have to worry about their quarterback room until the offseason.
That being said, it doesn’t hurt to add an experienced quarterback like Driskel to the roster.
