Browns star tight end will not allow disrespect
Whether it is Joakim Noah’s ‘no one vacations in Cleveland,’ ‘the Browns are the Browns’ or any number of negative statements based on the small market and city’s history, Cleveland and the Cleveland Browns take more than their fair share of negative comments. While some can be based in fact, most are just generalized statements of negativity for no reason.
Browns TE David Njoku has become a defender of the city and the team. Njoku is not shy about putting his opinion out there. He shot back at a silly comment from PFF and called out NFL.com’s Adam Rank for his preseason predictions.
Cleveland’s star tight end could be in line for a big year due to a new rule in the NFL but is still not taking any negativity toward the city or the team. First, after Micah Parsons’ took a jab at the city previously:
After Micah Parsons’ comments at the Pro Bowl, #Browns TE David Njoku proved he won’t stand for Cleveland slander. That’s something he said will never change.

Then, while doing an interview he did not let a vague negative reference toward the team slide:

While Njoku once asked to be traded, when he was unsure what the future held with the team, he has been a consistent supporter of the fanbase and city.
While Cleveland has their Guardians in Major League Baseball, the city has their Defender in Njoku.
