Five-year veteran offensive tackle Jedrick Wills could miss the entire 2025 season as he recovers from a lingering knee injury. Wills, a former first-round pick, spent the entirety of his career with the Cleveland Browns.

Jedrick Wills Could Miss Entire 2025 Season
Wills hits the open market following an injury-plagued campaign. After entering the season as the starting left tackle, the Alabama product suffered an MCL injury and finished the season on the injured reserve after playing in just five games. Wills finished the season with an underwhelming 52.9 PFF grade and the Browns ended the year with the second-overall pick.
Jedrick Wills originally entered the league as a first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Selected by the Cleveland Browns, the Alabama product immediately earned a starting job for Kevin Stefanski’s squad. Starting and appearing in 15 games, the rookie finished his inaugural season with a 62.6 PFF grade, the 57th-best mark out of 79 eligible players. With the rookie’s help, Cleveland made the playoffs and even won a postseason contest against their hated rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Wills returned to the starting job in 2021, and while the Browns couldn’t recapture their previous magic, he played at a similar level to his rookie season. Starting and appearing in 13 games, Wills ended the year with a 66.1 PFF grade. Following the season, the Cleveland Browns traded Baker Mayfield to the Carolina Panthers and acquired former Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson.
Thanks to his suspension, Jedrick Wills primarily blocked for veteran journeyman Jacoby Brissett in 2022. Once again, he played at an adequate level, starting all 17 games and finishing the season with a 62.9 PFF grade. Unfortunately, injuries limited him to just eight games in 2023.
Since signing his rookie contract, Jedrick Wills has appeared in 58 games while making 57 starts. While on the field, the Alabama product has played in two playoff games, winning one.
