Sunday, November 7, 2021, the Cleveland Browns are traveling to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals. This will be the third showdown of Baker vs Burrow and this should be a fun one to watch.
In the overall statistics regarding these two quarterbacks, Baker has beaten Burrow in their only two matchups. QB Baker Mayfield also has a 5-1 record overall against the Bengals. Compared to last year, Cincinnati is a really good team and a threat in the AFC North. They have won all of their division games so far defeated both the Steelers and Ravens. This is a must-win for the Browns if they want to stay within the course of competing in the AFC North.
The Bengals are going to be tough, but the Browns do have a chance at winning this game. Former Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. was released this past Friday. It seemed that every time OBJ was out in the field, the Browns just never looked at their full potential. Looking back on the 2020 season, Beckham tore his ACL Week 7 against the Bengals. In a similar situation, Odell will not be in this game since he was released. With him being gone, the Browns have a chance to go on a winning run like they did last year. They started their run against the Bengals last year and who are the Browns playing this week? That’s right, the Bengals.
QB Joe Burrow and the Bengals will be a tough opponent to play against. But knowing Baker’s history against the Bengals, I am confident that the Browns will bounce back and compete. The Browns are sitting at a 4-4 record looking to go 5-4. If they beat the Bengals, both teams will be 5-4, making this division interesting. Overall, the Browns should show up this week and play tough. I have faith in this still and I believe we will see the real Browns after getting rid of OBJ…
OBJ was just not in the right system and I wish him the absolute best. The future now though for Cleveland is to win! Let’s Go Browns!!!
