The Kansas City Chiefs are out to prove they’re still one of the best teams in the NFL when they take on the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
The Browns have received more hype than almost any other team in the pros leading up to the 2021 season. Some believe they’re capable of winning the AFC outright. We’ll find out what they’re made of on Sunday in Kansas City.
The Chiefs are out to remind fans that they haven’t gone anywhere. A big win over the Browns would be quite the statement. Such a quest should prove easier, thanks to a huge boost to the Kansas City secondary.
The Chiefs have activated defensive back Tyrann Mathieu from the reserve list, per NFL insider Tom Pelissero.

Tyrann Mathieu hasn’t practiced in some time now. The Chiefs placed him on the reserve list earlier this month. He missed the Chiefs’ practice on Friday, as a result, putting his status for Sunday’s game into question. It looks like he’ll be able to give it a go against the Cleveland Browns.
Mathieu is still one of the best ball-hawks in the NFL, and certainly provides plenty of energy for the Kansas City defense. Last year, the veteran safety had 62 tackles and six interceptions, one of which he returned for a touchdown.
Mathieu will be on the field when the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
