Dawg Pound Discourse: Call your shot by giving us your QB depth chart

A case could be made for each of the Browns four QBs

With the Cleveland Browns concluding their OTA sessions this past week, we have now gotten a better feel for the QBs on the roster. We know how important the position is overall, but finding above-average play will be critical to the team’s results this season.

Normally, it is one of us writing about how we think the depth chart is currently laid out, but today we want to flip the script by asking you. We should all be encouraged by what we have seen from the two rookies, but there is plenty of work remaining for both.

The topic was brought up on the Wake Up with Earl Da Pearl and Spencer German on 92.3 The Fan:

“There is no way that Shedeur Sanders is not entering training camp, for me, as QB-2 on this Browns depth chart.”

While there is a lot of buzz around the play of Shedeur Sanders, we can’t forget about the other rookie who was drafted fifty picks earlier, in Dillon Gabriel. We know Joe Flacco can still sling it, but is there any juice to starting a 40-year-old in Week 1? We also know the team loves Kenny Pickett’s intangibles, but does he offer enough from the pocket to threaten opposing defenses?

Watching it all play out will be fascinating once the pads are on in August with bullets flying. This brings us to today’s topic: If you were tasked to make the depth chart for the start of training camp, what would be your pecking order?

Who is the guy you want to prioritize for the tough schedule ahead? Let us know in the comments below, and be sure to check out how other fans view it. There should be some interesting takes and votes for all four.
