Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore took a scary hit on Thursday night against the New York Jets.
He took a major hit during the second quarter and appeared to convulse on the ground numerous times. He had to come out of the game and was sent to the hospital for further evaluation.
Dr. Bennet Omalu, who was the main character in the “Concussion” movie, thinks Moore should retire from the sport after seeing that hit.
“That is my recommendation,” he told TMZ Sports.
Omalu went on to say that Moore was having a seizure on the field and said that is “permanent damage.”

Moore is currently in the NFL’s concussion protocol and his status for next week’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals is currently up in the air. So far this season, he has compiled 59 receptions for 640 yards and two touchdowns.
The Browns are currently 11-5 and will be in the NFL playoffs once they start in a couple of weeks.
