Long gone are the days of a flurry of undrafted free agents signing with the Cleveland Browns after the draft, and then making the roster. In fact, after the 2024 NFL draft, the biggest name added to the roster was Miami guard Javion Cohen. He was one of just nine undrafted free agents signed as the majority of the Browns’ 90-man roster is constructed of established veterans or returning players.
A year ago, two undrafted free agents in safety Ronnie Hickman Jr. and linebacker Mohamoud Diabate made the final 53-man roster, but the nine players added this year all face a tough uphill battle to be considered. However, most of these players, especially the priority undrafted free agents, have a fast track to the practice squad to hang around the building and continue to work on their craft.
Who are these nine players? We mentioned the Alabama to Miami transfer Cohen, but here is the full class of undrafted free agents added by the Browns with rookie minicamp right around the corner.
