Cleveland Browns star pass rusher Myles Garrett took home his first Defensive Player of the Year Award on Thursday night.

He edged Pittsburgh Steelers star pass rusher T.J. Watt out by four first-place votes and by 25 total points.

Watt got second and was followed by Dallas Cowboys edge rusher Micah Parsons and Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby.

Here’s the full results of the votes:

Garrett had a tremendous season for the Browns, finishing the year with 42 total tackles, 14 sacks, four forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and three passes defended.

He helped them get back to the playoffs even though they were ravaged by injuries.

He’ll now try and get his second DPOY Award for next season but will face stiff competition from the likes of Watt, Parsons, Crosby, Roquan Smith, Fred Warner, Dexter Lawrence, and many others.
