Joe Flacco’s magical run with the Cleveland Browns could result in him breaking an NFL record on Thursday night.
Flacco could break the NFL’s record for passing yards in a month if he gets 153 passing yards in the second half.
Right now, he has 1,603 passing yards in December and needs to hit 1,756 yards by the end of the second half to break the record, which is currently held by Peyton Manning.

Flacco has exceeded every expectation that the Browns had for him when he signed with their practice squad. In five games, Flacco is completing 59.4% of his passes for 1,307 yards through the air, 10 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.
Outside of potentially setting an NFL record on Thursday night, Flacco is trying to lead the Browns to a playoff spot. The Browns are one quarter away from accomplishing that goal as they currently hold a 17-point lead over the New York Jets.
