Joe Flacco’s surprising resurgence is alive and well against the New York Jets tonight.
So far, the 38-year-old quarterback, who did not sign with the Cleveland Browns until late November and didn’t make his debut until earlier this month, is 14-of-20 passing for 224 yards and two touchdowns.
Flacco did just throw a pick-6, but that hasn’t stopped Flacco-mania from taking hold on social media.
Joe Flacco might be AI.

I’m becoming very OK with Joe Flacco making a Super Bowl.

A former first-round pick and Super Bowl MVP, Flacco has thrown touchdowns to running back Jerome Ford and wide receiver Elijah Moore, while also connecting with tight end David Njoku five times for 128 yards.
The Browns have also scored on a rushing touchdown by Kareem Hunt and a pick-6 by rookie safety Ronnie Hickman. A win by Cleveland tonight would clinch a playoff berth, the second one for the franchise in the last four seasons.
Cleveland is in complete control right now, leading the Jets 27-14 late in the second quarter.
