Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett continues to find himself among the elites. In more ways than one.
Now, as he enters his ninth year in the NFL, Garrett already has quite a list of decorations. He can now add one more to the list.
In an announcement from earlier this week, Garrett is one of seven lucky players to be a part of the Madden NFL 26 99 overall club.
To receive such a high honor like that in a video game proves just how valuable of a guy Garrett is to the Browns.
Time and time again that Garrett is well worth the first overall pick that Cleveland takes in 2017. So, who else is a part of the 99 overall club this year? Let’s take a deeper look…
Myles Garrett and the 99 Overall Club in Madden NFL 26
Besides Myles Garrett, two other AFC North foes, an AFC stud quarterback, and three NFC fan-favorites are in the list.
For the record, this is the third time Garrett has started a Madden game as a part of the 99 club. He also began at 99 overall in Madden 22 and Madden 23.
The six other players to begin Madden 26 at 99 overall are:
Baltimore Ravens Quarterback Lamar Jackson (his second appearance)
Buffalo Bills Quarterback Josh Allen (his first appearance)
Cincinnati Bengals Wide Receiver Ja’Marr Chase (his first appearance)
Minnesota Vikings Wide Receiver Justin Jefferson (his third consecutive appearance)
Philadelphia Eagles Right Tackle Lane Johnson (his first appearance, as he enters his 13th season)
Philadelphia Eagles Running Back and Madden 26 cover athlete Saquon Barkley (his first appearance)
So, it would be fair to say that these are some deserving young men, with the numbers that they put up. And for Myles Garrett, his return to the 99 club is among the grandest of the bunch.
