The Cleveland Browns are signing veteran center Brian Allen.
His agency, AMDG Sports, was first with the news. The two sides agreed on a one-year contract.

Allen has been in the NFL since 2014 when the Los Angeles Rams picked him in the fourth round of the NFL Draft. He’s spent the last six years with the team and has appeared in 50 games with 32 starts.
He even started 16 of 17 games during the 2021 season and helped the Rams win the Super Bowl that year.
Over the last two seasons, he’s appeared in only 12 games with seven starts. He’s also battled some injuries after he missed seven games in 2019 and missed the entire 2020 season.
The Browns are hoping that a fresh start will work wonders for him as he looks to stay healthy throughout the season. Even if he doesn’t start, he’s good quality depth to have.
In addition to Allen, the Browns have Ethan Pocic at center along with Joel Bitonio and Wyatt Teller at guard. Jedrick Willis Jr. and Jack Conklin are their starting tackles.
