Cleveland Browns newly drafted quarterback Shedeur Sanders was cited twice for speeding by the police. This is one of those things where it’s no big deal until it is one. For example, a person crashes into another car or hurts themselves. That’s kind of the point of having speed limits, right?
I’ll just go ahead and say it… Shedeur, drive the speed limit. You were already drafted really low and are in a quarterback room of four here in Cleveland. Why do you have to start and cause more problems in a city that has had quarterback problems since the year 1999?
“I made some wrong choices personally and I can own up to them,” Sanders said, via Pro Football Talk. “I made some, you know, not great choices… I learned.”
Good.
Luckily, no accidents or issues occurred from the incident itself. Now, let’s just never have something like this happen again. Go the speed limit and set your alarm to leave at the right times so you’re on time to practice…or the game. If not, Joe Flacco may take the starting job that week HAHA.
Is this a big deal?
Not at all.
It simply cannot be a pattern of any type moving forward.
In regards to football itself, many have said Sanders looks good in practices thus far, so that’s a positive amongst this negative news for sure. Let’s see how this quarterback competition plays out as they continue to battle for the starting job for the Browns this year.
Lastly, please show up to all scheduled court dates, or else it’ll cause even more problems than you already have in regards to the speeding itself.
However, overall, unless this becomes a future trend, no need to worry at all.
