Right before the new league year started, the Cleveland Browns received some concerning news regarding their stadium.
On Tuesday afternoon, a small fire broke out at Cleveland Browns Stadium. The fire reportedly happened in a storage area.
Thankfully, this small fire was quickly put out, per the Cleveland Division of Fire. There were no injuries reported.
The cause of this fire is currently under investigation. It’ll probably take time for the fire department to figure out what went wrong at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
As long as there no foul play at the stadium, this shouldn’t be a concern for the Browns.
In the meantime, Cleveland’s front office will focus on improving its roster for the 2024 season. Over the weekend, the Browns agreed to a trade with the Broncos involving wide receiver Jerry Jeudy.
The Browns have also agreed to contracts with linebacker Jordan Hicks, veteran quarterback Jameis Winston, and running back/return specialist Nyheim Hines. They’ve also retained some of their own free agents, such as defensive linemen Za’Darius Smith, Maurice Hurst and Shelby Harris.
