That likely will leave the Browns with Blake Hance or rookie James Hudson protecting quarterback Baker Mayfield’s blind side as he plays through a torn labrum in his left, non-throwing shoulder.
- Joel Bitonio will become fourth Browns player in new era to start 100 games on Sunday (cleveland.com) – Browns left guard Joel Bitonio will do something on Sunday very few Browns players have done since the team returned. When he takes the field, he’ll become only the fourth Browns player since 1999 to start 100 games, joining Joe Thomas (167), Orpheus Roye (102) and Alex Mack (101) as the only four Browns players to reach the milestone since the franchise’s rebirth.

- NFL taking next step toward playing games in Germany, to unveil three finalist cities (NFL.com) – The NFL International Series is taking the next step toward expansion. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reports the league is taking the next critical step toward playing a regular season game in Germany, possibly as early as 2022.
- Ravens rookie Odafe Oweh fined for hit that knocked out Denver QB Teddy Bridgewater; Broncos not punished for hits on QB Lamar Jackson (Baltimore Sun) – The NFL fined Ravens rookie outside linebacker Odafe Oweh $11,457 for a hit that knocked Denver Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater out of Sunday’s game.
