The Cleveland Browns enter the 2025 NFL draft needing to re-tool their roster in a big way to add a great deal of contributors on rookie contracts.
This could mean targeting a quarterback like Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders or Miami’s Cam Ward early in the draft, or it could mean taking the best player available like Penn State pass rusher Abdul Carter or the Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter with the No. 2 overall pick.
Make no mistake: the Browns have the most valuable amount of draft capital of any NFL team entering the draft this year to make a significant dent into their team needs.
According to PFF, no team is more loaded with NFL draft capital in this year’s draft than the Browns. With 12 total picks, the Browns hold four in the top 100 (and a fifth at pick No. 103).

From the playoffs in 2023 to bottoming all of the way out in 2024, can the Cleveland Browns get back to prominence in 2025 with a strong rookie class and free agency crop?
They certainly have the assets to do so.
