When you sign a contract for $230 million dollars, you can afford to do certain things. Such as hosting the main Browns offensive weapons in the Bahamas this weekend to work on their game. That’s what quarterback Deshaun Watson is doing with the Browns.
Via ESPN: It’s unclear how many teammates will be traveling with Watson to the Bahamas, but one source said it would largely be his “offensive weapons.”
Look, this traveling might upset some people…
What the fuck @deshaunwatson – where’s my invite ??? #Salty

Obviously, I am not a quarterback or any type of “offensive weapon” on the Browns. I can barely throw a football with all of the shoulder issues I have had over the years. HOWEVER, I’m still very upset.
Only kidding…

Watson is going to have to meet with NFL officials sometime this week to talk about the 22 civil suits still pending. The length of his upcoming suspension is still to be determined in the coming weeks by the NFL. I’ve heard anything from the entire year to nothing at all.
I won’t speculate and just wait and see because there is no way of truly knowing the true answer…
Now, how cool of Deshaun to host his teammates and treat them on this trip. It’ll be a fun and productive bonding experience for whoever is able to join. Watson secured a field for the team to continue their work in the Bahamas. This way they won’t be tossing the ball on the beach Rocky Balboa style in Rocky III.
Did you know that Apollo Creed is my favorite Rocky movie character? Well, now you do!
The question everyone is asking…
Will Baker Mayfield rent his own jet to get down to this Watson party and join the squad in the Bahamas? Well, unless he rents his own private jet. That answer is going to likely be a “no.”
