Which positions on offense & defense do Browns fans view as the most concerning?

Not including the quarterback position.

During the offseason, Cleveland Browns fans vote in SB Nation Reacts to express their confidence level in the team or their thoughts on other topics.

We are getting ready to begin our positional training camp previews for Cleveland soon, so I wanted to kick things off my gauging which position fans viewed as the biggest question marks currently.

On offense, I excluded the quarterback position from the poll, since I thought that would be too obvious of a result. The options were running back, wide receiver, tight end, and left tackle. Only 1% of fans voted for running back, showing that fans believe that even without Nick Chubb, the position was significantly bolstered through the draft. Tight end isn’t a concern either. All of the votes ended up going to wide receiver (53%) and left tackle (46%). Cleveland has Jerry Jeudy as their top guy, but after that, are relying on a returning Cedric Tillman and also hoping to milk some production out of the likes of David Bell, Jamari Thrash, and WR Diontae Johnson. At left tackle, fans like the prospects of Dawand Jones, but aren’t sure if the third-year man can ever stay healthy.

On defense, the safety position was the runaway winner at 63%. Grant Delpit was solid two years ago, but had a pedestrian 2024 season. Juan Thornhill left, Rodney McLeod retired, and D’Anthony Bell was not re-signed, leaving Ronnie Hickman as the other safety (who actually didn’t have too bad of a 2024 season).

Over at FanDuel Sportsbook, you can currently bet on whether the Browns will have over/under 3.5 wins, 5.5 wins, or 7.5 wins.
