With the second 10-day deal of Cavaliers big man Mfiondu Kabengele set to expire tonight, Cleveland plans to retain him for the rest of the season, and possibly beyond, tweets Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Woj notes that the Cavaliers will ink Kabengele for the rest of the 2020/21 season, and are also signing him to non-guaranteed money for the 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 seasons. A three-year deal would mean that the Cavaliers are using portion of their mid-level exception to sign him.
