The Cleveland Cavaliers have announced their full roster and schedule for the 2025 Las Vegas Summer League. Notable names include rookies Tyrese Proctor and Saliou Niang, along with returnees such as Jaylon Tyson and Craig Porter.

Proctor was the 49th pick in this year’s draft. He’s been signed to a multi-year standard contract as the Cavs have faith in the 6’6” guard’s ability to score and defend at the NBA level. This could be a work in progress, but Proctor gets his first opportunity to prove some things in the Summer League. We’ll be watching him closely.

The other rookie, Niang, is going to be a draft-and-stash prospect for Cleveland. He’ll still be in Vegas, however, as he gets a chance to gel with his peers and test his mettle against NBA talent.

Porter and Tyson are already familiar with this league. The Cavs found Porter as an undrafted free agent in 2023 — and he went on to lead them to a Summer League title the same year. He’s since earned a standard contract and could see an increased role in Cleveland’s rotation next season.

Tyson was the 20th pick of last year’s draft and a Vegas standout. He showcased a dynamic skillset during the 2024 Summer League games. That didn’t fully translate to the professionals in his rookie season. Though, it’s hard for a rookie to earn minutes a 64-win team. Watch to see if Tyson’s offensive game has grown in these games.

If you’re wondering what the schedule is, we have you covered. Games start on July 10 and will wrap up later in the month, depending on how far the Cavs go in the tournament. We’ll get at least four games before the elimination rounds start.
