Larry Nance Jr. is back in Cleveland for the first time.
One of the highlights of tonight’s game is, without question Larry Nance Jr.’s first game back in Cleveland after being traded to the Trail Blazers over the summer.
Nance is still getting comfortable in Portland — he’s coming off the bench, averaging 17.7 minutes per game while averaging 5.9 points and 5.3 rebounds. The Trail Blazers are also still revving up this year, starting out 3-4 as Damian Lillard has a slow start to the year.
Nance really wasn’t in Cleveland all that long. But due to his dad, his roots in the area and the charity work he did last year, he has a real connection here. It’ll be cool to see him back.
For the Cavs, Kevin Love will be out again as he is in the league’s health and safety protocols. Elsewhere, Isaac Okoro is listed out for a fifth straight game due to a hamstring strain.
This should be an interesting game overall too. Enjoy the game, keep the comments clean and Go Cavs.
