Darius Garland, who was recently in a back-and-forth with Tyler Herro, missed the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 124-87 win over the Miami Heat in Game 3 with a sprained toe.
The margin of defeat represented the worse playoff loss in Heat history.
Jarrett Allen scored 22 points, with De’Andre Hunter adding 21 points. Donovan Mitchell finished with 13 points.
The Heat went up 15-6 to open the game before the Cavs went on a 33-5 run.
The Cavs also outrebounded the Heat 46-29.
“Our guys knew that was the key, rebounding and winning the rebounding battle,” said Kenny Atkinson. “We really executed defensively.”
With the Cavs up 3-0, Game 4 takes place on Monday.
