The Cleveland Cavaliers are slowly, but surely getting their roster healthy. Sam Merrill recently returned from a lengthy absence. Now, the Cavs may see Evan Mobley return for their Christmas Day matchup against the New York Knicks. The Cavaliers upgraded Mobley to questionable for the game in New York.
Mobley has missed Cleveland’s last five games with a strained left calf. The Cavaliers have lost the first three of those games, before winning their last two games.
On the season, Mobley is averaging a career-high 19.1 points and 4.1 assists per game. The fifth-year big man is also averaging 9.3 rebounds, 1.6 blocks and a steal per game.
The Cavaliers kick off the NBA’s Christmas Day slate at 12 noon eastern at the Knicks.
