TownHall in Ohio City today had a fantastic “Feed The Need” charitable event that served 4,000 hot Thanksgiving meals to the local needy community here near downtown Cleveland. They also held the same event yesterday at TownHall in Columbus, Ohio. Please see pictures below of the current and former Cleveland Browns players that participated in the event, such as current players such as Denzel Ward and former Browns player Joe Haden. Other notable Cleveland people who attended today were Cleveland Browns fan favorite Pumpkinhead, as well as some members of the Cleveland Cavs Dance Team and of course, Santa Claus and Mrs Claus. Over the years, these notable current Cleveland Browns players have attended the Feed the Need event, including Jim Brown, Bernie Kosar, Myles Garrett, Nick Chubb, David Njoku, Baker Mayfield and Cleveland Cavaliers star player Darius Garland. Cleveland Sports Talk was honored to be a part of the festivities. Men’s, Women’s and Children’s winter coats and clothing were donated to people in need and the people who attended were extremely grateful and happy to be remembered at this time of the year. Many local media outlets from Cleveland were at the event from 11:00 am on including WEWS Channel 5. A special thank you goes out to TownHall and their excellent staff, including Brian Day and Aaron Bisheimer and many others there for creating and taking part in this amazing annual event. And a special thank you goes out to Sister Corita from The Saint Augustine Hunger Center, who does a remarkable job working with the less fortunate all year long!
