Myles Garrett Has A Warning For The Sports World

The Cleveland Cavaliers’ season came to a close on Friday night with a Play-In loss to the Atlanta Hawks. And while the team would’ve loved to sneak their way into the postseason field, the Cavs organization is no doubt proud of their much-improved campaign after a No. 13 finish in 2020-21.

On Saturday, Cleveland Browns pass rusher Myles Garrett took to Twitter to congratulate the Cavs on a solid season. In doing so, he revealed a warning to the sports world about what he feels is the beginning of an era in Cleveland.

“Cavs had a helluva a year and Cleveland sports is gonna be scary next year…” the superstar DE wrote.

The Cavs are building around a solid up-and-coming unit of rising stars in Darius Garland and Evan Mobley. In his third NBA season, Garland exploded with a most-improved-player-caliber campaign — logging career highs in points (21.7) and assists (8.6). In his rookie season, Mobley notched 15.0 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.

The Browns are also looking forward to some brand new talent in the 2022 season. With a blockbuster trade earlier this offseason, the Cleveland organization brought in three-time Pro-Bowl quarterback Deshaun Watson. Garrett and Watson have known each other since their days as star football players in high school.

Which Cleveland sports franchise will have the better season in 2022?
