Pressure is reportedly “mounting” on Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line.
Atkinson, who is in his second year with the Cavs, was named the Coach of the Year last season.
Cavs’ owner Dan Gilbert is reportedly “very unhappy” with the team’s start to this season. The Cavs have a 15-14 record heading into Monday.
Sources also told Stein that Gilbert wouldn’t necessary meddle with Atkinson as the owner was one of the strongest voices pushing for Atkinson over James Borrego to replace J.B. Bickerstaff.
