The Cleveland Cavaliers will be looking to build off a promising 2021-22 season where they just missed out on the playoffs after losing in the Play-In Tournament. If it wasn’t for injuries, the Cavs would’ve likely been in the postseason. Now, they’ll be aiming to strengthen their roster this summer in the hopes of contending in 2022-23 and the organization has a ton of players on their radar as possible trade targets.
Among those names? The likes of Bojan Bogdanovic, Bojan Bogdanovic, Harrison Barnes, Gordon Hayward, and…Andrew Wiggins.

Here are the names that I’ve heard: I think both (Bojan and Bogdan) Bogdanovics would make sense for the Cavs. Gordon Hayward, whose salary lines up with Kevin Love… Tobias Harris, Harrison Barnes, Gary Trent Jr., Jeremi Grant, Aaron Gordon. And this is one that I’m watching. I think it’s less likely than it was when the postseason started, but it’s one that I’ve heard kicked around inside the walls of Cleveland. It’s Andrew Wiggins of the Warriors.
The Cavs are certainly familiar with Wiggins. They selected him first overall in the 2014 NBA Draft but then traded him to the Minnesota Timberwolves that summer in a blockbuster deal. He’s turned into an important piece for the Golden State Warriors, however, especially in these playoffs.
Cleveland needs more two-way wing players and all of these names above would come in handy. Hayward is probably on his way out of Charlotte and could be a solid trade option for the Cavs. Jerami Grant is another intriguing possibility but he’s also being pursued by the Blazers.
The Cavs must add more depth and with this laundry list of possible candidates, the franchise should have no problem landing one or two.
