The opening betting lines are in for one of the biggest games of the college football season thus far.
Per Stephanie Otey of the Action Network, the Ohio State Buckeyes enter Week 7 as 4.5-point favorites over Dan Lanning’s Oregon Ducks.
This will be the first meeting of the two teams under the Big Ten umbrella and it should be one of the more memorable matchups on the 2024 CFB calendar.
The Buckeyes and Ducks both land at Nos. 2 and 3 in the AP and Coaches Polls with many believing this could be a potential preview of the B1G championship game.
When you look at the talent on each side, it’s easy to see why. After some early struggles offensively, Dillon Gabriel and Oregon are rolling. While OSU looks as strong as ever with stars all over the place on both sides of the ball.
Ohio State has won nine of the 10 previous meetings between the schools, with its only loss coming in the most recent one back in 2021.

The Ducks will host this one at Autzen Stadium in Eugene next Saturday night at 7:30 PM ET on NBC.
Only one team can leave the field undefeated. We’ll see who can remain atop the polls six days from now.
