It’s hard to imagine the Ohio State Buckeyes being even more talented than they’ve been over the past few years but that indeed seems to be the case.
During a recent podcast appearance on “Bussin’ With The Boys,” former Texas All-American Bijan Robinson revealed how he secretly committed to OSU before ultimately flipping to the Longhorns.
“I know you hate to hear this, but I silently committed to Ohio State for a week,” Robinson said. “That’s exactly what it was and it was like more so people and players in my ear telling me like, ‘You gotta go here. You should go here. We’re gonna build a dynasty here. You’re gonna be amazing.’ Which could have been true.”
“But I just knew I could really go to Texas for a 40-year decision and not just football and I can become somebody here and always feel like this is the place for me,” the Falcons RB continued. “When I told the coaches that was the hardest conversation of my life.”
Bijan said that a talk with Reggie Bush about finding the right position coach ultimately led him to Stan Drayton at Texas.
With all of his success in Austin it’s hard to say he made the wrong decision. But it’s wild to think about the possibility of Bijan Robinson, C.J. Stroud, Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Emeka Egbuka and Marvin Harrison Jr. all on the same offense.
