College football fans won big on Wednesday when Reggie Bush got his Heisman Trophy back.
It was reinstated after it got taken away for name, image, and likeness deals, which were illegal at the time when he won it (2005).
Now that he got his Heisman back, Ohio State fans want their program to get their vacated wins from 2010 back after they got taken away for NCAA violations.
“I never stopped counting them, but 2010 Ohio State better get their wins back,” one tweet read.
“Curious when Ohio State gets its vacated wins back for 2010…,” another tweet read.
“Great. Now give Ohio State their vacated wins back from 2010,” another fan tweeted.
“Now give Tressel and Ohio State their wins back,” another fan tweeted.
One of the vacated wins included a 31-26 win over Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl. The only game that was not vacated was a loss against Wisconsin.
Even though it was a long time ago, it’s still something Buckeye fans think is worth fighting for, much like Bush with getting his Heisman Trophy back.
Let’s see if the NCAA gives the wins back at some point.
