We’re still several months away from the 2022 college football season, but ESPN’s Football Power Index is already ranking the top teams in the country.
Not only does the FPI have its preseason rankings available, it has listed five potential matchups that could unfold in the College Football Playoff.
The most-likely Playoff scenario includes Alabama, Clemson, Georgia and Ohio State. The FPI indicates there’s a 20 percent chance of this happening.
The second-best scenario features Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State and Texas. There’s a five percent chance this foursome comes to fruition.
