It is Bold Predictions Week here at Land-Grant Holy Land. So all week, we will be focusing on takes that are spicy, out-of-the-box, and maybe even a little bit dangerous. The key, of course, is that these are actual predictions that we are making, so they are ones that we actually believe will (or at least can) happen.
So, in this week’s fan survey, we are asking you about some bold predictions. Take a look at the two Buckeye-focused bold prediction questions and then scroll down to the survey below and vote. If you want to go further in-depth about your selections, please hit up the comments at the bottom of the page.

Question 1: Which bold prediction do you think is most likely to happen?
Now, obviously, all of us are rooting for all of these things to happen this season. I mean, could you imagine? The Buckeyes going undefeated, beating Michigan by 35 points after they get a semi-death penalty, and having three Heisman finalists and the winner, and picking up a second-consecutive national title while four other Big Ten teams make the playoffs? That would be one hell of a season.
But, since even I’m not an unhinged enough homer to predict that, I want to know which one of those things you think is the most likely to happen. To be honest with you, I’m not sure where I would go yet. I think the Big Ten is deep enough to get five teams in. I also think that the Buckeyes could go undefeated, and I would not be shocked if one (or more) Buckeyes get a Heisman invite to New York.
So, I’ll leave it to you? Which of these spicy possibilities is most likely to happen?
Question 2: Which under-the-radar Buckeye do you boldly predict will have a huge season?
I don’t know if there is really ever an under-the-radar player when it comes to Ohio State Buckeyes. By virtue of being on the OSU roster, you are already a stud, but I have compiled a list of a dozen players who could shock a lot of folks by having big seasons this fall.
At this point, only one of these players is set to be a starter, but you never know who could prove themselves in fall camp or early in the season, or if an injury will open up an opportunity for someone to step up.
As I was going through this list, it reminded me just how much exciting talent there is on this squad, and how much of it actually has a decent amount of experience. While there’s not a ton of starting or even playing experience from this group, it’s not expressly comprised of first and second-year players. There are a number of guys who have already been in the program for three years, working and waiting their turn.
So, which one of these guys do you think has the best chance to boldly break out this fall?
