Ohio State topped No. 2 Iowa in stunning fashion on Sunday afternoon in an overtime thriller that set the all-time mark for attendance for the Buckeyes’ women’s program.
Things took a bit of an ugly turn however after OSU fans stormed the court and appeared to injure Hawkeyes star Caitlin Clark as the team attempted to head for the tunnel. Something that deeply bothered head coach Lisa Bluder:
“It’s very unfortunate the game ended that way, with our players getting injured just trying to walk out of the gym,” Bluder said during her postgame remarks. “That’s wrong.”

Clark scored 45 points in the hard-fought game after which an Ohio State fan collided with her so hard that it knocked her to the floor.
A number of Iowa’s players and coaches gathered around Clark to make sure she was OK and guide her back to the locker room but the Hawkeyes superstar looked to be in some pain as she limped off the court.
Clark called the situation “scary” and that the collision knocked the wind out of her. She also noted that Ohio State’s athletic director apologized for the fan’s behavior.
