Two of the most-storied programs in college football history will meet in “The Shoe” this fall.
Ohio State will host Notre Dame in arguably the biggest non-conference game of the upcoming college football season on Saturday, Sept. 3.
Vegas has already released an early betting line for the game. William Hill sportsbook has the Buckeyes installed as a 10.5-point favorite over the Fighting Irish.
Expect that line to grow as the game draws nearer. Ohio State should be one of the best teams in college football this upcoming season.

“Would have expected that number to be much closer to two touchdowns and expect it will be once we’re into the summer,” NBC’s Douglas Farmer tweeted.

Ohio State and Notre Dame have gone head-to-head six times before. The Buckeyes are 4-2 in those games, having won four straight. Most recently Ohio State beat Notre Dame in the 2016 Fiesta Bowl. The Buckeyes won that game 44-28.
Can Notre Dame reverse course and get a victory over Ohio State? Regardless of outcome, it’s going to be a must-watch game.
Before departing for LSU, former Fighting Irish head coach Brian Kelly expressed his excitement for the matchup.
“Any time you talk about Notre Dame and Ohio State meeting in a football game, that event automatically is going to have huge national significance,” Kelly said, via NDinsider.com. “For fans and alumni of the two schools, not to mention college football fans in general, these games will be great attractions.”
