Ohio State men’s basketball forward Kyle Young will not return to Sunday’s second round NCAA Tournament game against Villanova.
Young, who has suffered multiple concussions over the past year, suffered a blow to the head in the second half of Sunday’s game.
CBS’s cameras made sure to focus on the girlfriend of the Ohio State Buckeyes standout.
Many criticized CBS for the decision, as Young’s girlfriend was having a difficult time holding things together – understandably.
Absolutely unnecessary to show Kyle Young’s girlfriend barely holding it together after he gets hurt. Zero need

hey @CBSSports quit showing Kyle Young’s girlfriend crying as he may have just left his last ever game with his 4th concussion in a year

stop showing Kyle Young’s crying girlfriend lmao, like have some decency and compassion, she’s concerned for her boyfriend who might unfortunately have another concussion

CBS previously showed Young’s girlfriend, who was at the game with their young daughter. Young and his girlfriend welcomed a daughter into the world earlier this season.
Hopefully Young’s latest injury is nothing serious.
Ohio State and Villanova are playing on CBS.
