It’s becoming increasingly evident that Marvin Harrison Jr. won’t suit up for Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl Classic against Missouri.
On Wednesday, Harrison wasn’t participating in the portion of practice open to the media. This was the case on Tuesday as well.
Harrison’s absence from practice has many people believing he’ll declare for the 2024 NFL Draft. That would make sense considering he’s the top prospect at wide receiver.
Like Tuesday, all Ohio State starters except Marvin Harrison Jr. and Lathan Ransom are in uniform for today’s practice.
Tommy Eichenberg, whose status was described as “up in the air” Tuesday by Jim Knowles, was not going through drills during the part of practice open to media.

Harrison hasn’t commented on his future since Dec. 7. At that time, he said he was undecided.
“Still undecided,” Harrison told reporters. “You guys know, coming into this year I wanted to beat ‘the team up north’ and win a Big Ten championship and obviously I didn’t do that this year. I think that’s a great motive to come back if that’s what I decide to do. It’s something I definitely wanted to do in my Ohio State career and not having done that yet, that opens the door for me to come back.”
Harrison has 155 career receptions at Ohio State for 2,613 yards and 31 touchdowns.
If Harrison decides to go pro, he’ll be towards the top of every mock draft.
