Chris Holtmann entered this season on the hot seat in the eyes of some Ohio State fans following last season’s poor showing.
That seat hasn’t cooled down after today’s 73-65 loss to a Michigan team that was 6-10 coming into the game. The Buckeyes are now 12-5 on the season but just 2-4 in Big Ten play after three straight conference losses.
Fans on social media are expressing their anger and disappointment.
“Chris Holtmann should be under fire after this loss to an under . 500 Michigan team,” one fan said.
Yes, but the Buckeyes couldn’t the lead or water after though. Chris Holtmann should be under fire after this loss to an under . 500 Michigan team. https://t.co/Hq9qZQhkJC

“I’m certain that Chris Holtmann is a great guy. His players all love him, and he’s got a lot of respect in the media and among his peers. But at some point, enough is enough. You have to actually win games,” added OSU grad Kevin Harrish.

Seems unlikely Holtmann would get fired during the season, so he’ll have time to right this ship.
He needs to do it soon though, starting Saturday against Penn State.
