Ohio State Fans Want To Fire Ryan Day, Hire Mike Vrabel

In the past, Ohio State fans have said they would be willing to move on from Ryan Day if Mike Vrabel becomes available. Well, the latter was just fired by the Tennessee Titans.

Vrabel, who just wrapped up his worst season with the Titans, is leaving Tennessee with a 54-45 record. In 2019, he led the franchise to the AFC Championship Game.

Although there’s zero indication a coaching change will be made in Columbus, the fans are making their thoughts on Day very clear. They want Vrabel to replace him.

“Bring Vrabel to Ohio State ASAP and fire Day…,” one fan said.

Another fan wrote, “I am a Ryan Day guy, but the only coach I’d want to replace him with just became available. Mike Vrabel!”

“If I’m the Ohio State President I call Mike Vrabel immediately to come on board and send Ryan ‘Cooper’ Day his separation payment,” a third person commented.

There’ll be a lot of pressure on Day next season, especially after losing yet again to Michigan.

However, there’s no guarantee Vrabel will be available in a year from now. He’s considered a “top-tier” coaching candidate for the 2024 hiring cycle.
