Mason Short has plenty of time before deciding where he wants to go to college, but the 15-year-old is already receiving heavy recruiting interest.
The 6-foot-6, 280-pound offensive tackle from Georgia’s Evans High School announced Thursday morning on Twitter that the Ohio State Buckeyes gave him a scholarship offer.

Per 247Sports, Coastal Carolina, Georgia Southern, Louisville, and Minnesota also extended offers to Short last month. Not bad for someone too young to get his driver’s permit.
As a freshman in the class of 2025, Short certainly doesn’t need to commit anywhere just yet. He’s also likely to receive many more invitations from eager suitors over the next few years.
Schools must really like Short’s freshman film to recruit him so early. He has a bit before deciding where (or if) he wants to play on Saturdays in 2025.
